IMMORTAL TECHNIQUE- INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION
Immortal Technique (Felipe Coronel, born in Lima, Peru in the late 70's) was showed to me originally by this hispanic kid in my tenth grade chem class... but as a suburban white boy listening to punk rock at the time I couldn't come close to appreciating his messages or music. Nowadays I am a big Technique fan, as his political focused rhymes are essentially untouchable. How is he not bigger? He sum's it up best in this song with the line, "No ones as good as good as me, they just got better marketing schemes." His anti-corporation attitude has led to his extreme creative control over his music which turns off record companies, and as a result he's find it hard to grow publicly but musically his development has been exponential. This track comes off Revolutionary Vol.2, put out by Viper Records in '03. Metaphysics provides the production, but the beat is not the key part of this song. Pay close attention to his filthy lyrical ability here
